The quirky charm of the 800-year-old building was delightful, and we loved sitting in the inviting beer garden.

We had a wonderful time here, especially enjoying the delicious complimentary breakfast and the super comfy beds. There’s a lovely garden area perfect for sipping coffee and relaxing in the sun. Just a heads up, the bathroom could use a bit of extra attention, but it didn’t really dampen our stay overall! 😄

We had a great time at this hotel with our friends! The location was perfect for exploring local attractions, and the room was clean and comfy. It was super convenient with free parking. We had a nice breakfast selection and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend for group trips!
The only downside was that the car park is located across the road, which was a bit of an inconvenience, especially during rainy weather.

Had a great time with my friends at this hotel! We visited a couple of local attractions during the day. The staff was friendly, and we loved the comfy beds. Although breakfast was limited to a continental spread, it was satisfying. Definitely a great choice for group stays.
The bathroom in our room could have been cleaner. it felt a bit dated.

A warm welcome greeted us upon arrival, and we were pleasantly surprised by our spacious and clean twin room with hot water readily available. The simple breakfast offered a good variety, including cereal and fruit, although the dining options were limited at this time. The location was quiet, ideal for a restful stay and close to several dining options in the area. some facilities appeared worn and in need of refurbishment, which detracted slightly from the charm of the place.

Our stay was fantastic! The check-in was quick, and the staff were super welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, ideal for our family with three small kids. The breakfast was a hit with the little ones, especially the pancakes!
My kids wished for more activities in the hotel to keep them entertained during downtime. A small play area or games room would be perfect for families.

Not recommended for anyone with standards
The breakfast was the only decent part, tasty sausages and a lovely hot drink hit the spot after a long drive. I had a chat with a friendly staff member who promised to note the complaints, but honestly, it shouldn’t have come to that.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I've gritted my teeth and dealt with worse.
